Winter…and new food. Plus martinis (what could be better?)
Now that it’s cooler in the mornings (very helpful to those of us that live with hot flashes) we’ve added some terrific new features. Many of you have tasted our take on chicken & dumplings – and we’ve added it to our menu for the foreseeable future. This week it’s been red beans & rice, loaded potato soup, and butternut squash soup. On all Friday & Saturday nights we’ll be serving a nice plated meal – this weekend we’ve got pork loin glazed with a whiskey mustard sauce and served with sweet potato mash and asparagus. Next week we’ll have beef burgundy again with some new soup, pasta, and appetizer, and on the weekend we’ll have beef tenderloin with potatoes and sautéed spinach. Plus meatloaf (which leads to meatloaf sandwiches – my fave).
We’re keeping Tini Tuesdays through November – Leslie is shaking up some brilliant martinis from 5-7 p.m.
Remember to come in for Brunch on Sunday, November 20th, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Eggs, pastries, bacon, sausage, breads, cheeses, muffins, and more – all made from scratch. We’ll keep the coffee on for you, too. Make a reservation – 817-281-9500!
And lastly, we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the weekend thereafter. I’ll be cooking up a storm at home for the fam and then will be putting on my fluffy bunny slippers for a day or two of extreme sloth. Happy holiday, all.
