Come see Brad Thompson on November 2!
Our first musical evening (other than those of us in the kitchen who frequently break into harmonious tunes to Broadway recordings) is fast approaching. Brad Thompson, a hugely talented (and local) one-man show, will be here to serenade us from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2. We will be serving, buffet style, a host of our popular appetizers and sandwiches (and we might even throw in a little dessert bite or two). Snacks – $15 per person, and we will have our usual selection of wines & beers. First groups that make it in get the couches!
Also worth mentioning…
- Next week we will be offering lasagna again – it’s finally the weather for it. We’ll also have chili with jalapeno cornbread as a special, not to mention some delectable desserts. We’ll have another Halloween cake, full of chocolate yumminess.
- Sunday Brunch – November 20th from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Some mornings when we are out of sorts and need a double espresso and something comforting to eat, Zach whips up some cream biscuits and gravy. We’ll be offering those for this brunch, and will pad out the menu with other great brunch foods like quiche, homemade sausage, bacon, Southwestern egg & chili casserole, warm cinnamon rolls, and mimosas. We haven’t even thought of all the good food yet, so stay tuned. Cost will be $20 per adult, $8 for kids, and we’ll be serving family style. So make a reservation! If that doesn’t get you in the mood for the holidays, nothing will.
- Thanksgiving sides – We will be offering fresh holiday sides for you to pick up before the in-laws and grand kids get to your house for Thanksgiving: yeast rolls, breads & biscuits, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, ambrosia, dressing, and all sorts of desserts from pumpkin pie to a full dessert sampler tray. More on that in early November! Just think about relaxing on Thanksgiving with your guests instead of getting up before the crack of dawn. I might even have time to scare the dust bunnies out from under my beds before my crew arrives!
