Now that the shock and awe of our first two weeks are done…we are thinking about how we want to shape Bizzi’s to better nurture your (and our) inner shepherd. The cheese and wine are so good we find ourselves looking longingly at the cheese plates we serve and wine we pour.
First of all, we are expanding our hours during the week. We get it: people don’t even think about sipping a glass of wine or eating dinner until they get home from work, change into their shorts and flip-flops, and read the mail. So…it’s 8:00 p.m. close from Tuesday through Friday.
Saturday, we also are changing our hours – we’ll be open from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. That leaves plenty of time for wine and cheese tasting, nibbling on a selection of European cheeses with olives & figs, and perusing the local art, all the while relaxing on the couches in Bizzi’s. We will start having wine tastings this weekend, too, with a White to Light Flight as well as a Red selection. It’s hotter than blue blazes, and we picked the wines with our hot, dry summer in mind. We can put the vino together with some succulent cheese choices, too, if you’d like.
Our menu will continue to change weekly to best utilize local produce in season. We can pack things to go, too – and you can call it in ahead of time (817-281-9500).
Our first day of business was a success. Many people came out for our grand opening and I would like to thank you all. Please let us know what you thought. The cheese will be coming out of its paper today (hopefully) and will add another fun dimension to our varied offerings. Thank you again and come back to see us!
