Hello World!

June 7, 2011.  It is a Tuesday.  I can’t wait…

We did it!  We have completed all of the required inspections to open and have set a solid date.  We have linens, art and really yummy wine and cheese.  Is there anything else, really?


Grape Expectations

The Bizzi’s staff is looking forward to meeting some adventurous customers that will have questions for us and knowledge to share in the next couple of weeks. The construction is done and the tables are in! Now we are just cutting through the last of the red tape so we can get up and running!

Now that we have finalized the last phase of Bizzi’s construction and remodel, I am starting to get a feel for our flavor. Our wine list is almost complete and I can’t wait for some true wine lovers to come in and dare us to tantalize. There will be a few things on the list that people will recognize, but most of what we carry will offer an adventure into the unknown. Since we are hurtling towards summer and hot, icky weather we added a dry rosé to quench both your thirst and your longing for France. This L’Opale de la Presqu’île de Saint Tropez is a stunner from the salmon color to the hints of mild white pepper. For those of you who rebuff pink wines even in their driest form, we have included some very interesting reds. We just added a Chilean Carmenere that smells so deeply of green bell pepper you can’t help but imagine a backyard garden bursting with the mild beauties in the heat of the summer.

So get ready people! I will be sending out the Grand Opening date in a few days (fingers crossed)!
